15. Natural Turn to Back Lock The Natural Turn to Back Lock is a simple amalgamation consisting of the first 3 steps of a Natural Turn, counted "Slow, quick quick", followed by a Back Lock, counted "Slow, quick quick slow", where the first step of the Back Lock is taken with lady stepping forward in line with man. This is a slightly unusual entry, since the Back Lock normally begins with lady stepping outside partner on man's right side. A very popular ending to the Back Lock is a Running Finish, but it can also be followed by a Tipple Chassé or a Closed Impetus, or at the gold level, a Tipsy to Right.
