Hey guys, I am dating a woman who is into ball room dacing. The only ballroom dancing I know is from movie and that looks very sexy and hot. Her partner is paying for her to attend a Rumba dance for 3 months. Can someone tell me more about this dance? From what I read here, it is a romantic dance.... am I just being childish? From reading all the disccussion here, it seems like people do get emotionally to each other....even professional and married people.

While rumba is a slow romantic dance, it's still just a dance. If you have a good relationship, you have nothing to worry about. Non-romantic dance partnerships are very common. However, she would likely appreciate it if you made the effort to learn dance so you could dance with her.

Deffense, almost similar thing happened or is happening to me and the matter is that I'm away from her, traveled fro work. Maybe there is no love in your case.
As they said, you can dance with her or watch her dancing while you'll be on fire.
If you're dating just to go out with her it's something else. If you don't like to dance and feel you can't support watching her dancing than better leave her.
If love is between, than it's how much you trust your love together.
And I'll tell you that to dance you should live it and feel it not just making steps with your partner, I can use the word "to be in harmony".
