Hello. Someone can help me?

We've known standard Closed Position has contact point, but when I do this, I can't Walk forward well with my partener.

Becuase my righ leg alway hit her righ leg, that annoy her and me. As for I try to avoid to hit her, so I can't step a "normal"(normal distance and Heel to Toe footwork) step insted of "a small and wrong footword step, like Latin fwd".

And I can't keep a correct and stable Frame and top line in ballroom dancing. Even I danced with my teacher, this thing happend again and again. My partener's right hand is alway getting tired when I dance with her.(they said I pushed to much force to them, but I jut keep hanging my left hand out there, even with hold close her right hand!)

Finally, my teacher let me keep a space between her and me. So I can keep a more good and stable frame. But it seems not the good posture !?

I wonder maybe that's because the lenght of my arm s and legs are longer than my partener as for chinese people (I am 180 cm, and her about 160~170 cm).

Another problem is when I taking an forward step in Waltz, them sometime feel I was lean to them, especailly for "qucik rhyme", such as V Waltz, It's more apperant, and sometime my left foot hit her rigt foot.

Someone can help me to practice eliminating those flaws...

Thanks a lot

JOHN Shue
