I'm Leaning toward the tango? Anything wrong with this selection as the first dance we learn?
Any better recommendations. THanks so much?

every dance has it difficulties (a lot of them ) so fell free to learn first the dance that enjoy you most. as beginner have fun, the boring details will come later.

and remember to take things easy if your wife has back problems - tango is meant to be very staccato in places, but you may want to go somewhat easier on that! but I'm sure you'd thought about that - I once had a partner for whom I had to change my way of dancing quite a lot, so I thought I'd mention that here.

have fun!
