My name is Stavros and I am from Greece.
About 4 months ago (after watching the movie"Tango") I decided to start learning the tango.I went to a dance school here(the only one I found,I leave in a small town of 200.000 people) and start learning what I supposed it was tango. I also did a search on the internet in order to find more (and especially video tapes).But until now I though that there was one style in Tango,what we call Argentinian Tango.After searching the internet I found some other "styles" of Tango such as American style,or International style and of course Argentinian.And I remember that the Tango dances I saw on the movie "Tango" were very different from the steps I learned in the dance shcool. So please tell me what is the difference between the styles.My teacher show me the dance in a five steps sequence: one(slow) ,two(slow),one-two-three(fast,fast,slow).What stryle is this? And something else and more important:Can you tell me any instructional tapes with more steps in the style I have learned?Can you give me any info where can I buy them and suggest some titles for me.
