I am not new to the competitive scene, but, I have been competing through a known dance studio franchise which is getting to be too expensive. But, I don't want to give it up. I am also interested in exhibitions, "fun" comps (comps b/w studios), showcases, etc. I am trying to figure out how much $ I need to save from month to month in order to continue this hobby. I am open to finding an amateur partner or staying pro/am.

Can anyone give me example average costs of competitions, local or travel included, pro/am or amateur?
