the physics of dance

I started a thread recently entitled open figures in waltz. After a week away from my computer, I am now having difficulty re-finding this thread, but as I remember, it had veered off into a discussion of the physics and of swing, flight, rise and fall etc. Anyway I am interested in getting my hands on any papers, books on this subject (ie physics of human movement as applied to ballroom technique), and wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction (which I think was where I got to on the original thread). Thanks.

Interested. Google Social Dance Judy Pattereson Wright. Click on the top one. You might be able to pick it up at your local public library. There is a lot in the book that might interest an Interested person. Good Luck
