Something interesting came up concerning this popular move via an experienced dance friend conversationally, from a well-known Int'l trainer he's recently been taking from, that I wanted to run past you for insight. I use this move a lot because it works well on a social floor with my otherwise (so far) limited floorcraft in this dance, and provides a fun experience for followers without complication.
Supposed, there is a footnote in the book calling for a CI instead of NatSpin at the long corner of the floor, followed by a "flattened out" pattern across the short side (end) of the floor. From a practical social standpoint (crowded floor near the ends), this makes good sense to me, too. Reportedly, the usual "V" becomes something flat that has a regressive check in the middle, into a tipple or RF or somesuch (?), then as usual to the FwdLk & spin at corner (then back into the V-pattern for the long side of the floor).
Can anyone confirm or clarify in terms of specific movements, if known? Don't know if by "book", he meant Moore or not.
Much thanks in advance.
