Rumba Variations

I was hoping that someone could help me find some variations for the Rumba that show off the meat of the dance because I have a showcase coming up on the 28th of April and I want to tell the story the way it is supposed to be told with passion and intense emotion. I also don't know how I can make this feeling come out in my dancing with my coach because I just don't feel it and it is becoming a problem because I really want this dane to be well recieved it's my favorite. So if anyone has any tips to help I would appreciate it and any Rumba help period I would greatly appreciate, I just can't get enough of it premed1@yahoo.com

Hi, Rumbaluv:

Incorporate figures like Spanish Arm and Kiki Walks in your routine. Also Dance Shoulder to Shoulder (Outside Break ), then Side to Side leading into Cucaracha. These figures can be danced in American style as well as Int'l style Rumba, showing great emotion and portraying romantic story.

Establishing eye contact whenever you are facing your partner. Steping and holding on the slow beat of the music as long as you can. I hope these would help you in achieving your show dance.
