Lyndie: Foxy is based on the Foxtrot magic step (slow, slow, side together). Instead of the side together (or quick,quick), you go side-tap (to the lady's right), and then side tap (to the left). You can do most Foxtrot moves in Foxy. A lot of wedding dances are done to Foxy--the music is usually a slowwwwww, ballady love song. Sleepwalker by Brian Setzer is a good example. Hope this gives you an idea. Alicia

You could dance Foxy, which is a sexy version of the Foxtrot. More like nightclub two step.

We dance a clubs where few people know or use formal dances like Foxtrot. We like Foxtrot but would love to use a less formal variation.

Are there other simple patterns other than what 1a2 3a4 described? It think I could use this interesting dance in casual non-ballroom atmosphere. Thanks!
