medals to me means you've danced in front of an examiner at various levels i.e. bronze, silver, gold etc which indicate of level of learning/ experience/mastery, etc.

most likely you'd be examined by an istd instructor (imperial society of teachers of dance). there are different levels of achievement within each category from pass to commendations, etc.

what do you get for joining. well i only just joined and i'm impressed with the level of people and their willingness to jump in and help.

sorry for the lowercase. had a car accident last night and can only use 1 hand at the moment.

Thanks for the information, my dance teacher asked me if I wanted to do medals, and I didn't know much about it. What happened in the car accident. Anyway, are you doing medals, and if so, what ones have you done
