Looks just like the kind of forum I've been looking for.

I'm a ballroom and swing buff from Tucson, Arizona. My favorite dances are the East Coast Swing, Cha-Cha and Salsa. I also like to do the Rumba and the Waltz - preferably when the dance floor is not crowded.

Keep on dancin'

Lee Ann,

Flagstaff is 255 north of Tucson and 137 north of Phoenix. I'm not familiar with the dance scene in Flagstaff, but it is pretty good up in Phoenix though I have never gone dancing up there. I would check on the web by going into one of the search engines such as Yahoo, Google and putting in the query Ballroom dancing in Phoenix and for Flagstaff for locations or check the phone directories while you are visiting.

Too bad

Too bad it's so far away. There's really nothing in Flagstaff except one swing lesson on Tuesday night. I called up the lady who's teaching it to find out if there was any other dancing around (there isn't). However, she's actually from the next town over from where I currently live! (North Andover, MA). Small world, isn't it? I'm bringing her a roll of NECCO wafers, made since the dawn of time by the New England Confectionary Company. (She asked for lobster, but they don't travel so well in a carry-on ha ha).

Hi Ghostdancer,
Is Tucson near Flagstaff? I'm going there for vacation Saturday, and would love to know of places to dance while I'm there.
