Video downloads

I download all the variation video clips and store them on my computer. However, since I have installed a sound card, Windows Media Player tries to download a "codec" whenever I reopen a video clip to look at it again. It never succeeds in finding the codex, rather it gives an error message, and then plays the video anyway. Can someone please help me to resolve this issue? It does not prevent me from seeing the clips but it has considerably slowed down the opening process.

Hi Jonathan,

I have finally managed to re-install Windows Media Player (v.6.4) but it hasn't solved the problem. Do you think a different player could help? If so, can you recommend any?

Thanks
Hanlie
