I have long complained that U.S. television was way Behind their European conterparts in showing dance competitons. That, thankfully, seems to be changing. Besides the annual events on PBS, there now seems to be irregular presentations on A&E, ESPN, and Lifetime. It is important that we support this programming and encourage these netwoeks to continue with them. The problem is that it is difficult to get advance information on the programs. I usually get a phonecall from someone who happened to be channel surfing and found one already in progress. Perhaps induviduals could post notices if they happened to hear of an upcoming event, but it would be much more useful if you guys could post them on their own web page. Thanks.

Well, no comment from the administrator on my suggestion. I know you are pretty busy with other things, so please transfer my suggestion to Dance Discussion so we might get comments from others. To minimize the work of the administrator, I would suggest that a new catagory of notices be created, i.e. TV Competitions, that members and guests can use to advise each other of upcoming events.
