-- I was thinking that the utility of the variations of the week might well be increased if a type of step, e.g., side to sides, as in the Tango variation of a few weeks ago, was pursued in subsequent weeks across as many dances as possible, e.g., fox trot, waltz. This would foster the generalization of dance steps both in the instruction offered and, I think, in the thinking and dancing of those who use the stimulating and interesting variation of the week.
-- I also wondered about putting the man and woman's steps together, step by step. This is, in effect, how Betty and I use the steps.
Others?
-- Another thought was that it would be very nice is the more difficult aspects (steps, lead, etc.) aspects of a variation were highlighted and tips for eventual success were offered.
