I am getting two conflicting technical advise in the way I twist my foot in foxtrot's promenade twist. The first one is from a professional competitor/instructor who said that as a rule of thumb one should twist or rotate on the part of the foot that is bearing the weight, i.e., ball or heel. The other instructor advises that my foot should be flat while twisting to prevent lilting or rising action while twisting. I am not really sure which is which but I have great faith in this forum coming up with the right answer. Thank you.
