man no body turns less when lady OP?

in ISTD Foxtrot Basic Weave, technique of man's step 2 and 3 are

RF to side, LF back in CBMP, 1/8 between 1 & 2, 1/8 betw 2 & 3

while that of lady's step 5 and 6 are the same.

why there is a "body turns less" for lady's step 6 but no such words for man?

there is no "body turns less" for man doing an outside turn with lady OP ending. e.g. quick open reverse, Waltz Basic Weave and Weave from PP step 234, step 5 of Progressive Chasse to R when 1/2 turn is made.

i just use the case of Foxtrot B.W. because it's with the greatest contradiction!

does any one know why?

terence
