Should I take lessons from a pro?

I have only been dancing for about 3-4 months now but I am very focused on my steps and especially technique. My studio is offering lessons with "Bill Sparks" would it be plausible for me to try to attend since I don't have that much experience because my thought is that sure I don't know a lot of the things I'm supposed to but why not learn them from a proffesional and learn them the right way the first time instead of learn the steps and then get critiqued on them later after they are already ingrained in my head this way? Let me know what you think. Thanks
