Yes, absolutely -- It's all in the plan. But be a little patient... I'm juggling a bunch of different projects at once. Right now I'm revising the Salsa section and adding Samba, and after that I have a new dance lesson to write, so I won't be able to add any more dance positions for a little while. But when I do get back to them, I have a plan. Here's a sneak peek at the coming dance positions, and how we plan to classify them:
CLOSED POSITION - Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Salsa, and Arg Tango.
OPEN POSITION - Open-Facing and Apart-Facing ("Shine").
PROMENADE POSITION - Ballroom, Latin, Semi-Open, and Open PP.
COUNTER-PROMENADE - Ballroom, Latin, Semi-Open, and Open CPP.
FALLAWAY - Ballroom, Latin, Semi-Open, and Open Fallaway.
OUTSIDE PARTNER - Ballroom Right and Left Side, and Latin Right and Left Side.
SIDE-BY-SIDE - Open SBS, Apart SBS
SHADOW POSITIONS - Closed Shadow (American Smooth), Open Shadow, Apart Shadow, Side by Side Shadow, Sweetheart, Cuddle, and Hammerlock.
RIGHT-ANGLE POSITIONS - Cross-Body and Fan Positions.
Also, what you are calling "dance holds" we're going to classify as "hand positions", which will incude basically what you mentioned, except for the first two (closed partner hold and open partner hold), which will fall under the classification of dance positions.
Gimme a little time, and you'll have it all!
Sincerely,
Jonathan
