Have to agree with Ladydance. Polished seems to enjoy baiting others as a means to spout his own theories on dance and insult others. His own methods of analysis make me "imagine" he might not be worth watching on a dance floor.

Both Mirko & Pino hold the sway until going into the fourth step in their basic waltz.

As you can see in this demo (Mirko - Alessia Demos), by the time his left heel hits the floor on the fourth step after the first Natural, he has completely dissolved his sway. I used the word "blended" because his right heel hits the floor at virtually the same time.

In this case, he most likely does so because the next step is a spin.

JJ . By the time his heal hits the floor he is more than half way through step four. What is not being understood by some is that if you dance the basic 18 of the waltz the sway is continual moving smoothly from right to left along with CBM and swing. Jofjonesboro. With Luca Did I not say that the sway was held into the next step, step four. Incidently the following steps are Open Impetus Turns which are not Spins in Luca's demo. That's not very clever switching to another dancer. In fact its a get out.
Astaire. How did these other dancers get into the act. Unless you had said Mirko. Pino and Luca hold the Sway into the fourth step.
Ladydance If you are a Social Dancer you have no need to do the dances correctly. There is nobody judging you or your partner. If you lose a bit of time it doesn't matter, or miss a heel lead which is most likely after a Spin Turn in the Waltz or Quickstep. Dropped elbow , head looking the wrong way. That's just a few common mistakes by a Social Dancer..

Accusing me of switching to another dancer and then recognizing that astaire did so in the same paragraph reveals that you don't give wour writing much attention. Stream of consciousness may have been fine for Virginia Woolf but she didn't write any dance manuals.

It's a bit late to try to mitigate the viciousness of your earlier insults.

jofjonesone. Your ruining your own credibility as anyone can see by Google Luca and Lorain Foxtrot Demo and simply look. Luca holds the sway as does Mirko and Pino all are three Italians. Do you agree with Astaire who says Mirko and Pino do hold the sway into the fourth step. Lets hear it.

I have already posted my observations about these videos and, unlike you, do not enjoy repeating myself.

You've made it clear that you believe that we "social dancers" have no credibility anyway.

jofjonesboro. Falure to answer the question would seem to imply that at last you have found your eye glasses. Either that or you have learnt to count at last. Dropping into the Social Dancer thing as a diversion is not very clever and absolutely nothing to do with the questions before you.

Your refusal to acknowledge that I've already responded to astaire doesn't mean that I didn't do so. Everyone can see that you're being both obstinate and foolish.
