Only one style since 1980 ?....

I was teaching latin hustle in a major southern US city , all thru the 80S. and adjudicating it . The timing you quoted is 3 count ( or street style ).

Chain schools taught both .And to add to the mix, a merengue style was the forerunner seen in clubs, before the more advanced version took place.

Where was this? Who are these teachers? There are many 70's teachers still dancing and teaching and even a few competing today and they have no knowledge of your WCS theory. In fact, Billy Fajardo himself is on the record that there is no WCS influence whatsoever, and he has compelling proof..... there was no WCS win NYC at that time!!!
