Actually there's a setting somewhere for me to set the time however I want. I think it actually defaults to EST, and at some point I changed it to PST. I don't remember what my thinking was, other than maybe that largest audience is on the west coast. It's more or less arbitrary, since 23 out of 24 time zones are always going to be off.

It would be more clever if they programmed it so that you could set your own time zone. Maybe I'll add that feature when I program my own version of the message board later next year.
