Good luck, and the other two posters gave some good advice. However, I would caution you to make sure that this is really the job you want before accepting it. There will be a lot of hard work on your part to learn your job. The hours can be long when you're on your feet. If you ever decide that you want to compete, it will have to be as a professional once you start teaching. This could change everything in your world of dance...just make sure it's really what you want! Find out what your obligation to them will be...will you sign a contract? If so, have someone look it over for you. Are you bound to work for them for a certain length of time, with a promise not to compete (ie, work for another studio or independantly) for a period of time after you leave? Will you have to pay for your training? Will you be responsible for building your own customer base?
