re: Hmmm...what shoes for Latin?

For latin, you definitely want open toed latin shoes, available through ballroom supply shops or on-line. Latin shoes are more flexible and allow you to step on inside edges and point toes more easily. Like Michelle says try on as many shoes as possible to find a pair that fit properly. The shoes need to be snug but not too tight. Otherwise they will just hurt your feet.

Finding shoes that fit can be tough to do depending on where you live. Many cities do not have much selection available. A good place to try on shoes is at competitions since there are often several vendors giving you several companies to pick from.
