Oops, I was fun with all the answers, I didn't put in the one I wanted to hear. *smack*

I've always feel a bit concerned about taking flash photos. It's good to know it's not distracting if the lights are up.

I found another good indication of light level at the SFOpen. It didn't occur to me until later, that they had the lights dimmer than in past years. So almost all my pictures came out dark, something that hadn't happened in the other 3 or 4 comps in the same hall. But this was the first competition that I had noticed circles of light on the floor from the ceiling spotlights during the day. Now I know to look for those at IGB.
