I LOVE West Coast Swing. WHenever I get out that's my first choice.
But I also dance a bunch of different dances. I'm pretty good at Salsa and the latin dances and Lindy.
It really doesn't matter, it's whatever gots me on the dance floor!!

If you are a West Coast or Salsa Dancer, there are some really AWSOME events going on at New Years. From the 28th of december to january 1 in Palm Springs. This is my 4th year going and I have to say that they are FAR above most dance camps!
information is at:

Hi, Jenny:

Do you focus on the bull or do you focus on the bullfighter? When do you make eye contact with your partner and when do both you and your partner aim your attention towards the bull? Perhaps during promenade?

Dunno...

Let me see... Cha-cha and quickstep come to mind first, but maybe that's just because I did them today, then salsa, jive's good fun, slow/English waltz sends shivers down my spine when I'm dancing with a good lady. Foxtrot (slowfox) has good music and feels so light! Haven't done much tango, but I like watching it, so I'm still giving it a chance. I've only started learning samba, but it's so energetic and smooth that I might well fall in love with it. I look forward to learning more flamenco (which I feel is my true destiny), and likewise to learning paso (doble). Want to try ballet at some point, too!

Best wishes,

Philipp

West Coast just GETS me! I love a great hustle, nightclub two-step, fox trot or rhumba, but MAN! Give me a slow, cool groove and a partner who lets me PLAY!
LATIN!

Single time East Coast Swing? that's jitterbug; East coast is triple or at least that's how I know them as and is my favorite as well.
