A ha, my mind has returned to me. I remind a figure which my partner and I usually dance in Waltz. I forgot the name - it may be checked later, but the description is as follow:
Commence in PP, Man facing DW, Lady facing DC, moving along LOD:
MAN
1. RF fwd and across, facing DW, down, Heel (count 1)
2. LF side, facing DW, up, Toe (count 2)
3. RF cross behind LF, having turn 1/4 to R on LF between 2-3, backing DC, up, Toe (count &)
4. LF side, having turn 1/4 to L on RF between 3-4, facing DW, up and down, Toe
LADY
1. LF fwd and across, facing DC, down, Heel (count 1)
2. RF side, facing DC, up, Toe (count 2)
3. LF cross behind RF, having turn 1/4 to L on RF between 2-3, backing DW, up, Toe (count &)
4. RF side, having turn 1/4 to R on LF between 3-4, facing DC, up and down, Toe
This is quite similar to Chasse from PP, but step 3 will be cross and turn instead of close, and end in PP.
We have never try this in Quickstep yet, but it should be count SQQS or SQ&Q, as Jonathan pointed. The sway could be Nil or Man to R, Lady to L on 3 (Lock step).
Hope it has any help. Any way, this is an exciting discussion.
Best regards,
MSN
