Ahh yes, Brian and Jennie, love their little studio. Brian plays exquisite music and on any given sunday, there are bound to be dancers of all levels of expertise to try your hand with.

If you are traveling to NJ, you could also try Roger's Dance studio (Gary and Diana McDonald) which is 30-45 minutes away from the GWB, they have a dance every friday (and last time I was there, they had a saturday event too).

In NYC, there is the Stepping Out Studio on Broadway (and 43rd if I recall correct) where you can do WCS, hustle, salsa during the week and ballroom on some friday nights, Dance NY, Dance Manhattan and Marcs (often crowded, my least favorite). Why don't you check out Aria's web site at the following URL.

http://www.ee.princeton.edu/~aria/dancing.html

Follow the links to dancing in NYC.

For places in Seattle, you can try Henry's list at

Good luck finding a place to dance and enjoy..

I love the place I dance. It is in Whippany NJ, about 1 hr from NYC. Top teachers (not, I repeat, NOT a chain!), really nice, family atmosphere, socials 2 X/ week. Most group lessons are Mon-Thurs eves., socials are Sun and Thurs eve., privates are daily except Saturday. The number is 973-492-9664 ask for Jennie. More questions, feel free to give me a ring-973-727-9654. I am just a student there, I have no affiliation.
Good luck, have fun.
