West Coast Swing classes were not offered locally, so I made a 4 hour drive to Cincy for classes.

I attended a Saturday Group Class at Step N Out Studio, located in Covington, KY across the river from Cincy. The drive was well worth it. Cost for a group lesson, $20.00 well spent with instructor Greg Underwood. Check out their studio website for upcoming classes and www.stepnoutstudio.com
They have an ongoing class schedule, and the prices are somewhat less than what we pay in my local dance class. From looking over the prize plaques on the wall, I gather many Step N Out folks dance competively..thus I would assume that they are teaching the up-to-date moves and styles. I cannot vouch for the instructors certified creditials...but can tell you they are attentive to students, make the class fun, and keep you mixed up with lots of different partners...so you learn to "adjust accordingly." Ha

Have not had the opportunity to participate, but understand the Step n Out instructors support several of the cincy swing "hot spots" including York Street Cafe in Newport, as well as other events posted on the cincinnati swing website.
