Watch a lot of old movies, listen to Glenn Miller, Dorsey, Shaw, in the originals. Watch newer movies with great dancing for the ambiance. Immerse yourself in the attidude. I started dancing because of my love of old movies. I may not always get the highest scores for technical, but I always nail it on expression. Most of all, just believe in yourself and have fun. It's the thinking that gets in the way. You know you know the steps, so just have fun and GO FOR IT. You'll be just fine if you have a little attitude and the smile on your face is genuine.
