Dear Len and every one
Thank you for sharing. I was always wondering why people call this beatiful step "Rudolph"? No one seemed to know.

This talk room is THE encyclopedia for me.

The full name of the step is the "Rudolph Fallaway", which involves a ronde action for the lady.

The name comes from the film star, Rudolph Valentino (according to the writings of "Phyliss Haylor", A renowned English personality of the past).

I don't know exactly why this step was named after him. Perhaps he inspired it's creation or performed some kind of similar action in his movies.
