This is incredibly personal and will change with the size of your steps, body flight, partner response time and does take personal attention to find "your" line. In general When on the outside of the turn your body turns slightly less to keep your partner (on the inside of the turn) moving a smaller distance. She will not be travelling the same distance so your foot placement and body flight are part of the answer. Plus you will need to know where she is supposed to be in relation to your body on all six of the steps. Also, the rotation in slow and vienese waltz is not the same, outside of the foot work. So this will require time not dancing socially but working slowly with a partner without dealing with oncoming traffic. Good luck. j.Ï Ã
