"OK Houdini. Even then the weight will still be on the foot that it is no longer over."
That's exactly what I've been saying all along: the weight is still on the standing foot, but not over it. Thus the body is OFF BALANCE, and you will need to drive in order to extend your movement - otherwise you will land on your moving foot prematurely.
"You've got that wrong which is. You stop counting. You must stop when the foot takes weight."
Wrong? No, I repeatedly posted a direct quote from your message. A copy and paste quote, leaving no room for typos.

"Putting all jokes aside. do you really believe that you and a partner could even remember in quick sequence most of the stuff you have unloaded on this site."
No. That's why we practice. To make it all automatic.
Note: hiding messages is pointless, as the same topics will simply pop up again in a new thread. The only way to put a permanent end to the inane comments is if eveyrone who actually understands dancing bands together to point out there numerous factual errors. It's no good to call Quickstep or Anna's nonsense and then hide the message (as happened with the feather timing thread) - you aren't going to convince them that they're wrong unless you keep the fact under their nose. And impartiality only invites them to continue.
