Let me tell you that because I adore ballroom dancing a great deal, let me
tell you several of my favorite danceable waltzes:

"Three Times a Lady" (The Commodores)

Motown is not really famous for waltzes but this Motown hit
is fairly danceable.

"Open Arms" (Journey)

Note: This waltz is under classic rock if you can
tolerate classic rock in ballroom.

"May I Have This Dance" (Anne Murray)

Usually a good song to close out a social ballroom
dance.

"Tenneesee Waltz" (Patti Page)

Still one of the most beloved classic slow waltzes.

"Moon River" (Henry Mancini and Orchestra)

Henry Mancini's orchestra is also good too. The newer versions of the
waltz arrangement are coming out and a few are good too as the
original.

"Ice Cream" by Sarah McLachlan?

Its a Vienesse Waltz, but if you have it slowed down a little it makes a pretty romantic waltz.

People have made a number of good suggestions in this discussion!

One particularly beautiful waltz is "The Lovers' Waltz", recorded by Jay Ungar and Molly Mason, on an album by the same name. It can be found on Amazon.

My husband and I danced to a waltz version of that Bobby Darin song "(I'm a-lovin' you) Always," at our wedding. We had a really difficult time finding something we liked. Everything we listened to sounded like old German Beer Tent music, you know? Accordians and everything. (Well, it seemed that way-- pure cheesy.)

We also bought a CD of standards by Mila Drumke, who has this great jazz-bar style and bluesy voice. I saw that she was covering Moon River, and I knew that she would do it cool. We loved it, and included it on the CDs we gave out as favors to our guests. It was a big hit.
