It seems to be an issue with IE6. I am able to login from a computer with IE 5.5 but not computers using IE 6.

Blair,

You must be logged in because your message is showing you as a member. If you weren't logged in, it would show your message as being posted by a guest. If your screen shows otherwise, I wouldn't worry about it, because in the end it is working.

Sorry I don't have a better answer than that, but unfortunately this is not my software. I will be writing my own message board software in the future which will replace this one.

Larinda,

It looks like you really aren't logged in. Log-in status is tracked by "cookies", which are small files saved on your own computer. Some computers are set to deliberately set to reject cookies as a security precaution. Check your internet settings to make sure you're accepting cookies and if you aren't, you've found the problem.

If you need help with that, give me a call. Actually, call me anyway (or I'll call you) so we can work out Ohio details. Oh and Melissa says Hi.

Have you tried editing your ad or profile from another person's computer to see if it's a cookie problem? You can also try using another browser on the same computer (Netscape of you use IE, or IE if you use Netscape, etc).

Unfortunately I can only take stabs in the dark here, since this is not my software. But I'll do my best to help.
