Thanks PantherSon re: an upper body sway in Jive.
We feel the sway, because our shoulders is not on same level by slightly inclined upper body, when we dance Jive chasse. Do you mean "contra hip", that is two actions, when L foot to the L, R hip to the R and opposite?
We also thank Dancetalk to give for us a lot of helpful discussions. Our dancers are not easy to buy any standard dance reference. Nowadays, our dance scene looks like Singapore one in 1960s of 20th centuries, as we read in "
http://www.singnet.com.sg/" by Robin Chee & Pele Chee-Lim "most teachers learnt from books and through self experimentation. Techniques and styles learnt were closely guarded secrets, only meant to be displayed on special occasions for fear of copying of steps". But we hope that, the scene will change in near future.
Kind regards,
