I live in Fairfield county, CT. There are many ballroom dance places. Pinecrest country club in Shelton for one runs every thursday night from 7 to 11 PM. It is on Rt.110 just north of Rt. 15 (Merritt Parkway). It costs only $10 and include a decent dinner and 30 minutes of group lesson (different dance for each month). The floor is hardwood about 30X60 in size. The nice part is it is not crowded with about 50 people. I go there almost every Thursday. I know a few more places similar to Pinecrest on different day of the week if you need.
