I just watched Championship Ballroom Dancing on PBS here on the East Coast. The Sukarov's Rumba showdance was unbelievable! I was mesmerized, and I can't get it out of my mind. It was so unique, and refreshing. I'm glad I got it on tape so I can watch it again. And again.

I am sorry I missed the TV event. Could you or anyone tell us in advance any ballroom dance event on TV? May be we should ask Jonathan to add such informaation in the newly added "list of upcoming competitions".

I wouldn't list it under "upcoming competitions", beacuse the event on PBS has long since passed by the time you see it on TV. The event takes place in November, and they don't air it until February of the following year. Any time you see it in December, January or early February, you're actually looking at a rerun from the previous year.

To announce the televising of the Ohio event would require me adding a new section, such as "Upcoming Shows / Television Events". Not a bad idea, but I have too many ideas that I need to take care of first. In fact, that "Upcoming Competition" listing is already falling way behind... I've gotta get to that!

In the meantime, I'll try to post any events that I hear about on this message board, in the "upcoming Events" forum. And as always, I welcome everybody to do the same.
