Can someone tell me how to go about finding a dance partner!!!! Yes I have looked on the net, but I have no connections to people who could help me...Anyway if i could have some pointers or ideas that would be great. I used to teach ballroom and have been out of the loop for some time. By the way I am in Montreal. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!

I have had some minimal amount of success finding people looking for partners on the web, but nobody that worked out. I found my partner through my dance instructor. Are you taking lessons or otherwise affiliated with a dance studio? Usually the instructors will know if someone at your level is looking (this is the best way to go if you want a competition partner). Or, you could go to the studio social dances and ask around. There may be other social dance venues to look in also.
