We have some problems, as followings :

1st : We had a book " Popular variations-Standard Dances" by Alex Moore. In this book , it have some glossary of terms that we can't understand, such as ( for waltz ) : Promenade Ronde, R.Lunge, Foot Lunge, Slow Lock, to Hinge, Standing Spin, Chair, Changing Sway. We can't find them in our ISTD books.

2nd : the meaning of some glossary of terms : Telemark, Weave. There are not in yours glossary of terms .

3rd : In our country, in social dancing, every body dance a thing under name "bebob". This dance is similar double swing. Lets know , somewhere everybody dance this one.

The figures you described are advanced variations. They can be "modified version" of syllabus figures (figures danced in advanced ways, like Slow Lock, Standing Spin), can be ballroom line (to make dances more beautiful and attractive, like Lunge, Hinge Line, Chair), can be advanced figures (not listed in ISTD books, like Ronde action).

When managed all figures in ISTD technique books, you then have basic conditions to learn advanced technique and figures. As you see in competitions, couples don't dance syllabus figures (ISTD books) much, but they uses their technique to danced competition figures. So, basic figures in ISTD books are so important to achieve a very high level in dancing.

Telemark and Weave, as my opinion, can't be brought in Gloss of Terms since they can be danced in various way in 4 standard dances. They are figures, not technique, so is not a good idea to write a book to describe figues beside ones of ISTD.

As far as I know, the dance called "bebob" in Vietnam was born to dance along the rhythm of Disco and Pop, very popular in 1980s-1990s. No country else have this dance. There is also a music style named "Bepop", but that is not the case here.
