American style Samba?

I notice the ballroomdancers.com syllabi do not include an American style Samba. Is there such a thing that is generally recognized or is there only International style? If there is an American Samba how does it differ, in general, from International Samba?

Thanks,
Bill

There is an American style Samba, but it differs very little from its Int'l style counterpart. The body action is exactly the same, and even the syllabus is very similar.

By the way, we're going away to Spain for two weeks, but when we return I'll be adding Int'l Samba to our website, complete with video clips and instruction.

Sincerely,
Jonathan Atkinson
