I am starting to learn the lindy, but I have danced the tripple swing and jive for years, I am looking for how to's on arials and a list of steps and how to do them. I also don't know the placing of all these different swings. If anyone can give me some guidance and a rundown please let me know.

Hey- Well first for the arials, I'll give you the cliche speech. It sounds like you just started and the arials look cool, but after you dance more you won't be that impresed, or what to do them. But if you really want to learn buy the video (if you can't take lessons personaly). YOu can go to www.savoyshop.com and look under the, duh, arials section (in the videos section). I have one and it's good! But please don't someone who will do arials on the floor, and hit someone. Doing them when not proforming or in a jam is just not cool. I'm a little confused of your other requestes. But to get lindy steps, you should take lessons for #1, #2 would be videos, but if they aren't posible search the internet. Go to www.dancestore.com and look at their vidoes and the just try to learn, or better yet go to www.ballroomdancers.com (this sites sponsor) and they have very good, baisc swing steps. Always use videos, usualy if you take text messeges to learn you get confused and learn wrong, you really have to see to learn. If there is anything else you need to know about Lindy just keep poasting here, that's what it's for. Hope I helped.
