Wade-thanks for your post. I checked out the sites listed. I understand that when the music is really fast one uses single time swing. The sites you posted seem to use really fast music as suggestions, IE Brian Setzers "Cat on a Hot Tin roof" at 196 BPM. That's just too fast, at least for my skill level, to do triple time too. (Don't get me wrong...I LOVE Brian Setzer music)
What I am looking for is something a little (alot?) slower. We use "Just a Gigalo...I ain't got nobody" for our Triple time practice tune. I don't know what the BPM is but it's certainly not the frenzied 196 BPM as listed below.
My understanding was that competition East Coast Swing (Triple Time) had a 36 BPM. Am I confused
