QS V-6 Clarify?

Something interesting came up concerning this popular move via an experienced dance friend conversationally, from a well-known Int'l trainer he's recently been taking from, that I wanted to run past you for insight. I use this move a lot because it works well on a social floor with my otherwise (so far) limited floorcraft in this dance, and provides a fun experience for followers without complication.

Supposed, there is a footnote in the book calling for a CI instead of NatSpin at the long corner of the floor, followed by a "flattened out" pattern across the short side (end) of the floor. From a practical social standpoint (crowded floor near the ends), this makes good sense to me, too. Reportedly, the usual "V" becomes something flat that has a regressive check in the middle, into a tipple or RF or somesuch (?), then as usual to the FwdLk & spin at corner (then back into the V-pattern for the long side of the floor).

Can anyone confirm or clarify in terms of specific movements, if known? Don't know if by "book", he meant Moore or not.

Much thanks in advance.

Frank,

I'm not quite clear on that. You're dancing a Closed Impetus in a corner at the end of a long side to end moving towards DC of new LOD, followed by what? V-6? If you could be more specific about describing the movements, alignments, etc I might be able to help you better.

Also, I'm not altogether clear on the question, either. Did you want to know if it's acceptable within syllabus guidelines, if it's possible to do at all, how best to execute, if it can be found in a particular book, or something else?

Sorry for the necessary clarification. All this website stuff must be making me dizzy.

Sincerely,
Jonathan
