which place?

If one is free to travel and move, which city or town does anyone know offers best opportunities for the ballroom dance students, young and old? Definitely Blackpool? What about in the US?

I happen to be living in an area where such opportunities are limited.

Try Washington-Baltimore with New York city a close second. Realize that there are good coaches in some of the isolated areas of the US. You have to search them out. I would not consider Blackpool to be a great location in the UK. London and some of the really backwater towns in Yorkshire probably are best. Historically they have been the source of some great dancers.

First-New York City, maybe Atlanta,GA, San Diego or Los Angeles,CA, Seattle,WA, and St.Louis,MO. In Canada- Montreal.
