Now or Never by Elvis Presley is another good and actually rather surprisingly apt rumba. Dean Martin's version of Sway is surperb too by the way.

Try the following:

Sway - by Anita Kelsey in the movie soundtrack of "Dark city"
I'm Falling Into You - by Celine Dion in "Falling Into You"
Abrazame
Mucho Corazon
Me faltas tu
Johnny Guitar
Unbreak my heart
Come back to sorrento

Check out the music section at Ballroomdancers.com. They have both American (SQQ) and International (QQS) style rumbas. Be aware that American rumba has a much faster tempo than International rumba. You can, however, dance American style to International speed rumbas as well.

I personally love among others,

Besame Mucho
Perhaps (Spanish version?)
Sway (American Rhythm)

The CD from Mambo Kings has a couple of good Rhumba songs. Good luck.

Sri.

There is one great Rumba, wich is
"Historia de un Amor"
There are millions of versions, and you can find it in many CD's of old Cuban music
By the way, if anybody finds a good version, please let me know!

Find something that is an expression of YOUR dancing. Find a local CD store that lets you listen to the CDs BEFORE you buy them, in KS/MO we have a chain called Streetside. Then listen to the CDs of artists who you already know you like...find your own Rumba. No offense, but no one wants to hear Perhaps, or Sway for the hundreth time.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong!
I love the song "You've Got A Way" by
Shania Twain and have thought it would make
a wonderful rumba.
