Hi all,
I've been dancing the Lindy Hop (as a follower) for about a year and a half now, and it's been brought to my attention that I'm not actually doing it properly. I've noticed it ever since my friend told me so I was wondering if anyone could help...
Anyway, after the rock-step, during the triple step, I just can't seem to get around (the turn during the three-and-four) fast enough, and I'm never quite square with my partner. Also, I don't move forward in a straight line. I kind of drift to the side - to the left of the direction I'm originally facing.
I've tried to correct the problem by running, but it doesn't quite seem to work. I've been trying to committing all these errors, but it's really really hard concentrating on all of them at the same time...also, I don't really know what exactly to do.
If anyone of you have any suggestions, I'd be really really grateful!
Thanks!
Raistlyn
P.S. Does anyone have any steps for the twist-twist on the 1, 2 for the Lindy Turn? I just can't seem to get a credible, obvious, graceful, not awkward-looking, not shuffle twist.
