East Coast Swing Overview

Hello,
Every time I go to the East Coast Swing section and click on Overview I get nothing. All of the other links seem to work.

Funny you should ask... that's because there is no overview. With many of our dances, we never got around to creating the dance overview, history, step descriptions and breakdown of man's & lady's parts, etc. All we released was the video clips.

But the good news is: That's all about to change. My big project over the course of the last month has been programming an all new database-driven "Learn the Dances" section. Actually, the programming is nearly complete. The big task has been entering all of the data. I've been adding one dance at a time, one step at a time. It's a slow and grueling process, but I'm well on the way.

I won't officially release it to the public until at least the first 5 steps in each dance is complete, with overviews, step descriptions, video clips, etc. This includes the dance overview, history, music, movement, technique, etc. I expect this to take a couple more months, at least. But in the meantime, I'm allowing people to "peek their heads in the door" and take a look at the work in progress. If you'd like to take a look at it, go to www.ballroomdancers.com/dances/dances.asp

Sorry to say, but I haven't started on EC Swing yet. Cha Cha, Salsa, and Amer Style Foxtrot are the closest to completion. But since you brought it up, I'll try to get started on it next.

Sincerely,
Jonathan Atkinson
