Intl Cha Cha site and featured steps

I think the new Cha Cha site does look very crisp and classy. The "featured steps" are a wonderful way to see some great dancers demonstrating the steps. Keep up the great work. My one concern is that the couple is demonstrating at a slowed down tempo. While this slowed down speed at which they demonstrate allows one to better observe the technique and styling, one main hard part of cha cha is doing this technique while dancing a typical intl cha cha tempo. It would be helpful to see the demonstration up to speed as well, to better know how much of that technique (foot, leg, hip, and body action) is really possible at regular speeds. Its frustrating to practice all of that, get some of it down, and then not be able to do it to regular tempo. So again, it would be helpful to see what "it looks like" at normal tempos as well.

Thanks!

Thank you for the feedback.

Over the years, I've had requests for more than one video clip per pattern for a variety of reasons: Video format, camera angle, file size, narration & music, etc. But part of the problem with the video clips is that they are very large, and we only have a limited amount of resources. So for the time being, we have to stick with just one video clip per step.

Since we're stuck with only one clip, we have to choose the best type of clip to satisfy the most people. And while it's important to see it up to speed with music, I also think it's just as important to first see it danced at a nice, slow pace.

As prices continue to drop and technology continues to improve, I'm sure we'll be continuing to add new features. But for the time being, my goal is to get all of the video formatted consistently and uniformly throughout the website.

Sincerely,
Jonathan Atkinson
