Nice Rumba combination! However the Title Page still announces the Waltz Variation...

Rumba variation looks interesting, but am not sure what the shaddow position is. Can't get the movie to down load.

You probably just caught it as the website was in the process of being updated. This process usually takes about 30 minutes. Normally I try to do it in the wee hours of the morning when not a creature is stirring, but last night I had some technical difficulties with the server. So I had to do it this morning at around 10am.

Anyway, if you check again, you'll notice that it's all consistent now.

Good news! After we complete this month's dance lesson, our next project is a glossary of dance positions to be added to the Technical Tips section.

In the meantime, Shadow Position is the dance position where both man and lady stand facing the same direction, usually (but not necessarily) with the man behind the lady, slightly offset to the right or left. In the Rumba variation, the lady is offset to the right of the man, and he is holding her hands at approximately shoulder-level.

What kind of problem are you having downloading the video? Are you trying both the Quicktime and RealVideo clips? Are you waiting long enough? Do you have the most recent version of any one of these 3 players: (1) Quicktime (2) Windows Media Player, or (3) RealVideo Player. If not, you'll need to get one.

If you need more help in this area, let me know. I won't give up until you can see those videos.
